Bookshop: because the Museum demands to be remembered!
A network of bookshops, large and small, a “diffused” bookshop is available to visitors throughout the seven kilometres of the Museum itinerary. The selection of books and merchandise is rich and varied, from scientific publications to art catalogues, from reproductions of sculptures, paintings and ceramics to prints and stationery, from multimedia products to valuable items in gold and silver, and finally items of religious art, and children’s books and toys.
The bookshop, with many of its products and items, also has an online display on the Vatican Museums Store. For all items not present on the portal, a sales service is available to the public at: infoshop.musei@scv.va.
In its various sales points, the bookshop is always accessible to wheelchair users, with the exception of the shop situated on the steps of the Most Holy Sacrament, leading towards St. Peter’s Basilica.
In addition to the sales points within the Vatican Museums, publications and Museum merchandise are also available at the store in St. Peter’s Square (Braccio di Carlo Magno).
For all purchases, payment can be made in cash or by credit card (American Express, Diners and JCB credit cards are not accepted).
