The custom for Vatican State employees to walk the Stations of the Cross through the avenues of the Vatican Gardens in a communal spirit during the season of Lent has been confirmed once again this year.
In order to enable all staff to participate in this traditional moment of prayer, on Thursday 30 March the Vatican Museums will postpone their opening hours (10.30 a.m. for booked visitors; 12.30 p.m. for those without a reservation). The museum closing time will be exceptionally delayed to 06.30 p.m. (04.30 p.m. last entrance).
