“Special” opening times on Thursday 22 – but for a special reason!
On Thursday 22 December, on the occasion of the Holy Father's traditional greeting to Vatican employees for the exchange of Christmas greetings, the Vatican Museums will observe different opening hours in order to allow all museum staff to attend the special Audience reserved for them in Paul VI Hall.
The Directorate would like to apologise to visitors for any resulting inconvenience, and wishes a Holy Christmas to all.
